I loved them the moment I saw them…

Equally exciting news… is the recent collaboration between Jimmie Martin and Swedish flooring company Bolon. Cire Trudon – The Ultimate Scented Candle

5th May, 2009

Gone are the days when a simple scented candle was hard to find that did not smell of soap. In those days, in my opinion, there was only one luxury candle brand, in those days there was only Diptyque… Now, there are more gorgeous smelling candles on the market, in the shops and online than you can possibly choose from and ranging from every designer, fruit, flower, herb or leaf scent than you can practically imagine.

And then I discovered Cire Trudon, the Ultimate scented candle. The most exquisite and wholly mesmerising range of candle scents that takes fragrance to a new level and totally re-defines the term “scented candle”.

Originally founded in 1643 in Paris, by a Salesman called Claude Trudon. Maison Trudon was in fact the largest most beautiful wax-producing factory in the whole of France…

Renowned supplier to the court of Louis XIVth, the Palace of Versailles and all the greatest cathedrals and churches in the country. Now, Cire Trudon are back in the spotlight, under the direction of Ramdane Touhami, with a whole range of unique and intellectually complex perfumed candles. Unique because, they capture, an entire moment in french history…
