The Baobab Collection was created in 2002 by Belgian designer Valerie Bietlot on a coffee table in her South African home. After two years amongst the majestic Tanzanian landscapes, full of intense colour and enchanting fragrance, Valerie was inspired by visions of the African plains to create an evocative range of exquisite scented candles. Valerie returned to Belgium with the Collection in her luggage little knowing that her extraordinary collection would become a best selling success worldwide.
