Kartell

Kartell is an Italian contemporary furniture design company founded by Giulio Castelli, a chemical engineer, in 1949, that produces plastic modern styled furniture and accessories using designer including Philippe Starck and Feruccio Laviani. The company initially produced and sold plastic accessories for automobiles, then in 1963 the company started exploring home furnishings and the rest, as they say, is history. Known around world, Kartell’s pieces are an elegant mixture of contemporary materials and classic design and the result is an extraordinarily unique product that comes in different shapes, transparencies and colours.
