Raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bliss Lau is a hapa, half Chinese American and half American fine jewellery designer based in New York City. Having completed her design education at Parsons School of Design in New York, she soon became well-known for her trademark body chains and delicate body jewellery which, when worn directly on the skin, or under clothing as if it were lingerie, draws delicate lines around the body.

Inspired by sensuality and structure, Bliss Lau Jewelry focuses on design as a continuing exploration of the manipulation of form. Her recent explorations into fine jewellery have led her to create a unique and intriguing collection of interlocking rings in 18k white gold and yellow gold with exquisite diamonds and precious stone elements, which have interchangeable components that can be added to or adjusted as you wish.

A combination of soft and hard, positive and negative and the idea of a sensual armour, are the essences of the Bliss Lau rings collection.

Bliss Lau have been using 100% recycled silver and post-consumer recycled 14k gold to make their jewellery since 2017, and 18k fairmined gold since 2022. Their diamonds and gemstones are either recycled, lab-grown or ethically sourced, and they continue to carry out transparency reviews of their suppliers.
