15DEGREESLONDON
Pearls and gemstones have been known for thousands of years for their mystical and symbolic properties. 15DEGREESLONDON combines Western and Far Eastern knowledge. The jewellery is made with as less metal as possible according to the teachings of Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179), a German nun; probably the first female polymath and a pioneer in the study of mystical healing methods.
15DEGREESLONDON aim at creating precious pieces of jewellery that could embody emotions and feelings and allow people to connect with nature. They only use natural/untreated gemstones, woods, and pearls. This is important because gemstones are natural products full of minerals and essential elements, and they can synergise with our bodies. Each creation has powerful beneficial properties that truly turn each item into a unique piece. The materials used have a positive influence on well-being, affecting body, mind and spirit.
All designs and production are based in Germany. That means everyone gets fair salaries, are integrated into the German social system, and benefit from it.
“I try to support small companies or start-ups with a sustainable background. I do this in Germany and with my international business partners and suppliers. E.g., some of my suppliers are green certified, which means they use clean energy for production or are part of environmental projects”.
