India Mahon
India Mahon jewellery has a distinctly chic and colourful design signature. A fusion of east meets west, coupling ethnic opulence with contemporary simplicity. Alternative India-inspired design using a vibrant palette of authentic gemstones set in ethical precious metals, that are designed to be worn everyday no matter what the occasion.
Quality and ethics are important to India – quality in design, materials and production, as well as good old fashioned customer service ethics and the jewels provenance. India uses SMO and recycled gold, working hard to source ethical gemstones, and all the time striving to make her Harrogate workshop more sustainable. Each piece of jewellery is handmade in Yorkshire & the Cotswolds.
“I’m inspired by bold and beautiful gemstones, my focus when designing a piece of jewellery are the gemstones. I believe the most beautiful gemstones are not necessarily the finest. I get incredibly excited by the sparkle and magic of gemstones. I personally select each one for its colour, cut, the shimmer, how they hold the light and how they compliment each other.”
