MATILDE Jewellery launched in December 2020 and is an eponymous sustainable fine jewellery brand by Matilde Mourinho. The brand launched to inspire a change within an industry that has a devastating impact on some of the planet’s most fragile ecosystems and communities. Using only 14k 100% recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, eco-friendly packaging, and transparent processes, MATILDE cuts out intermediaries to keep the pieces as affordable, sustainable, and accessible as they possibly can be – Luxury is no longer a niche market.
Matilde Faria Mourinho Felix received her BA in Creative Direction from the London College of Fashion and then went onto receive her MA at the Conde Nast College of Fashion, focusing on Entrepreneurship which led her to focus her studies within the jewellery sector. Her interest in earth-friendly diamonds began after studying the detrimental and environmental impacts that the traditional jewellery industry had, which came up through her studies and led her to create MATILDE Jewellery.
At just 25 years old, Matilde has been profiled in Harper’s Bazaar, Daily Mail and Forbes and already has loyal brand fans including Priyanka Chopra-Jonas, Thandwie Newton, Naomi Scott and Kylie Minogue.
